TURNING CHALLENGES INTO CONFIDENCE

ONE STORY
AT A TIME

Jeff McCain shares real stories that inspire kids and parents to see learning differences not as setbacks, but as unique paths to strength and success.

"Every challenge you face is a green light - a signal to keep moving forward.  Trust  yourself, stay committed, and remember:
it all comes back to YOU."

-Jeffrey L. McCain

Jeff McCain spent decades building McCain, Inc. — a company known for creating the traffic signals that help people find their way. But long before that success, Jeff faced a different kind of challenge: growing up with dyslexia and learning to navigate a world that didn’t always make things easy.

Those early struggles taught him perseverance, problem-solving, and the belief that success comes from within. Today, through his talks and his book Success Is a Special Need, Jeff shares that message with students, parents, and educators — reminding them that every obstacle can become a source of strength, and every story can light the way forward.

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING

“Success is a Special Need” by Jeffrey L. McCain is an impactful story about a learning disability, not as a weakness but a source of strength. Also, a testament that everything is possible if you put your mind to it and are willing to do the work. He said, “We can spend our lives letting the world tell us who we are…. or we can decide for ourselves.”
When others saw barriers, he saw something others couldn’t even imagine. Just another proof that what makes you different can also make you exceptional. His learning disabilities did not hold him back. It taught him to think differently. This book offers motivation and proof that disability can become your biggest strength – not in spite of it, but because of it.
